After lunch, we wandered around the town, capturing the small, unique scenes of Hiraizumi.
The ‘Gundam Manhole’ we accidentally found on the street and the blue World Heritage mailbox were cute little highlights that brought vibrancy to this ancient historical town.
Finding the Z’Gok manhole, like a treasure hunt using a map, was such a pleasant surprise when we finally spotted it! 🙂

Even at a normal train station’s NewDays convenience store, they were selling products collaborating with Nambu ironware and the Suica Penguin, which made me marvel at Japan’s meticulous planning once again.
The city of Hiraizumi hides these charming, intricate details within its stately history, making walking around so much fun.
