The volunteer uniform designs were a bit unfamiliar, but it was a great opportunity to reflect on the legacy of the global festival that is the Olympics.. .

Kabukicho, which I hadn’t visited in a while, was bustling with large groups of foreign tourists—it was so vibrant!. .

The ‘Tairo-men,’ which has maintained the same look for decades, was superb as always—the harmony of chewy pork, crunchy cabbage, and black māyu oil was just exquisite.. .

This is a nostalgic flavor I’ve loved since I first moved to Tokyo, and finishing a bowl made me feel completely satisfied and strong.. .

Although I’m slightly worried about how strong the broth will hit me tomorrow morning, this one bowl helped me shake off all the stress from the day and get ready to start fresh!. .
